Road and rail pebbles

This is the perfect set for transport enthusiasts. The vehicle and road pebbles are double sided. Road side to use the car pebbles and rail side to use with the train. This set helps with developing independent and co-operative play, it also encourages children to become aware of their surrounds, beginning the learnings of the world around us and even geography.

 I like to combine this set with photos of our local area (which I attach to anything convenient, empty boxes etc). The children the set up their play and place familiar landmarks within their setup, this set helps to develop early mapping skills.
